Great execution of Indian fusion! I got delivered: - 1/2 butter chicken and 1/2 tandoori chicken pizza: Both sides were good but I preferred the garlickiness of the tandoori. The classic crust is thick / bready, but not dense at all - achari wings: marinade was nice and tangy, the wings were huge, and the chicken was juicy
Had been itching to try Mr. Singh's for awhile! We ordered pickup and while waiting for the order there was a steady stream of others picking up as well - much more popular of an option compared to dine in. Order took longer than the expected ETA but staff was super nice. Didn't have high expectations for the pepperoni pizza which was pretty basic but the Tiki Masala pizza was excellent!! Wings were great as well - will certainly be back for more!
We ordered tandoori pizza, butter chicken pizza and wings. The tandoori pizza was exceptional. The base in both the pizzas were very flavorful. We had stopped over here during our long day trip to SF, and the conversation post lunch was about how great the pizza was. The wings were not well cooked though. Though the surroundings didn't look promising, the ambiance inside was pretty good.
Great place to come to considering SF does not have any good late night restaurants open! I came here after a night of drinking, surprisingly the restaurant is still open for a sit down to eat at. I never really had Indian pizza much, but this was an amazing experience especially if you enjoy Indian food. I ordered the tandoori chicken pizza, it has a very nice kick in the sauce under the cheese almost like a curry taste to it. The chicken has amazing spices, with the addition of the cheese makes it a great combination. If you haven't tried Indian pizza and maybe looking for some late night food, this is the spot to try!
Honestly, such a great spot in the Sunset! It's a very niche craving of Indian pizza, but their tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken pizzas are delicious! They have the option to do a half and half pizza which is great because you get to try more flavors. I've always done carry out just because it's a pizza and it's nice to enjoy from the comforts of home. It's the perfect dinner option when you're too lazy to cook. The seasoning of the chicken mixed with other toppings and the curry flavors work extremely well together. The inside for dine in is a little hodge podge, but I'm sure they're never extremely full where you couldn't find seating.
This is going to be one of those places where the food is pretty good, but the dine-in service is subpar. As a result, I believe you'll have an overall positive experience if you get take-out from here. We made the mistake of dining in on a Friday night. The restaurant was mostly empty for dine-in aside from us and 2 other tables. Most orders that came out were for pickup/takeout, so they were busy. It took us and the other parties almost 10 minutes to get water and menus. We had to go up to the counter to ask for anything because the service is basically non existent for dine-in. Shame because the interior decor is quite modern and nice. When we got our food, it brought a nice change to our moods. The samosas were crispy and hot. Sauces nicely complemented the flavor. The half tandoori chicken, half chicken tikka masala pizza was also delicious. The tandoori chicken was moist, but the tikka was a bit drier -- however, the flavors on both were great in my opinion. Would I give this place my business again? Yes, but as a take out customer and not dine-in. A welcome addition to the sunset area overall!
Very flavorful pizza, a friend and I got the large half&half pizza and ordered the butter chicken and BBQ chicken toppings. I preferred the BBQ chicken as the butter chicken was very rich in spices but a tad dry. The Mango Habanero Wings we ordered in the side was perfect, the sauce was a great balance between sweet and spicy and the chicken meat was tender and moist. Was a little messy, so be sure to bring wet tissues or finger gloves like the ones they had in Ktown LA and in Korea. Store was quite empty on a Monday afternoon for late lunch but it was nice to have such a large space to ourselves where we could talk comfortably without shouting over loud music and people. If you've craving a unique fusion pizza with a spicy kick, look no further! I'd definitely come back to try the tikka masala pizza and more of their chicken wing flavors too!
We didn't have pizza here but had the regular Indian dishes. The boneless tandoori wings was decent, a bit spicy but the ranch dressing helped. We also ordered the tandoori mixed grill with chicken, fish, and prawns. Very good. Had to order raita (yogurt) to tone it down. The chicken cubes with onion with sauce was great with rice and naan. Any sauce with rice is a winner for me. Spinach and cheese was so so although it's my daughter's favorite. Next time, I would like to try their pizza.
I keep hearing people say curry pizza is good on a pizza, so finally I took the leap to try it out. I saw a coupon on the back of my Safeway receipt that expires this month June 2024, so I decided to use it. I chose the butter chicken pizza. I drove down to this quite unassuming place on Judah Street. I ordered online so I came to pick up. It was easy pickup, I just waited till they were ready and the cashier said thank you for coming. I actually enjoyed chicken on my pizza and being Indian flavor was different and nice. Not oily pizza which is great. Nice use of spices flavoring. Now I am wanting to go back to try their other types of pizza!
